Description

The Glock 45 is based on the concept of the GLOCK 19 X contract for the US ARMY from 2017. This weapon is primarily developed for the military sector, as the best concept from the GLOCK AUSTRIA company. The gun has a GLOCK 19 size slide and a GLOCK 17 grip

The G45 is the latest addition to the GLOCK family of pistols. The G45 utilizes GLOCK design and technology used in military pistols (G19X) combined with the worldwide demands of shooters and members of uniformed forces and is a crossover weapon in 9x19mm caliber.

The excellent G45 combines the quick handling and characteristics of a G19-sized bolt with a G17 Gen5-sized body. Both the barrel and the body have been slightly improved, thanks to which they achieve noticeably better properties.

The stock is treated with GLOCK's proven superior matte black highly durable GLOCK nDLC finish, which provides harder and more durable protection than the previously used finish. The nDLC coating increases corrosion and scratch protection and improves the gun's ability to function in adverse conditions. In addition, the breech has precision-milled notches on both sides at the front in front of the ejector window. The body of the weapon is also black with an expanding magazine well that completely surrounds the front of the stock. Thanks to this, it is possible to recharge quickly and efficiently even in critical situations.

The G45 is equipped with all the elements of the fifth generation of GLOCK pistols, such as smoother trigger resistance, improved body surface treatment for a better grip, ambidextrous magazine catch, ambidextrous bolt catch, MBS system for individual adjustment and a very accurate GLOCK GMB barrel (Glock Marksman Barrel).

Simply put, GLOCK brings a new level of service pistols—tried, proven, and unmatched by the competition.

The G45 compact crossover pistol in 9×19 caliber combines a compact bolt with a full body and brings all the advantages of the Gen5 model:

• Finger notches were removed from the body
• Extended frame
• Double-sided magazine catch
• Smoother trigger resistance

Glock pistols are equipped with so-called Safe Action trigger mechanism. Instead of a cock, they have a partially pre-stretched firing pin, which is fully extended by pressing the trigger. After the cartridge is fired, it returns to its original state when the trigger is released.

The Safe Action system includes three independent fuses:

• trigger - when the trigger is pressed, the lever protruding in front of the trigger is first pressed, which prevents the trigger from being moved unintentionally,
• firing pin – a metal sprung roller, preventing the firing pin from penetrating the primer until the trigger is pressed,
• falling - the firing pin is held in place until the trigger is fully depressed.

Glocks do not have an external (manual) safety.
