The Nightforce ATACR 1-8×24 riflescope is designed and built as the ultimate riflescope with low variable magnification. Inside you will find perfect ED glass, an intelligent FC-DMx reticle with bright illumination even in daylight, low chimneys, absolute reliability and a field of view at 1x zoom comparable to open collimators, but with much better accuracy. It measures easily over 25 cm in length and weighs less than 600 grams. Even in daylight, the backlit central dot enables quick aiming at the target, just as it is with collimators (red-dot). In contrast, this rifle scope has an eight-times zoom option, thanks to which you can locate, identify and hit the target at the maximum effective distance of most weapons. The FC-DMx's intelligent aiming pattern in the first focal plane will offer bullet points for easy portability. The low knobs for adjusting the corrections are hidden under the cover to prevent unwanted readjustment. The integrated zoom lever is used for simple and quick zoom adjustment.

| The FC-DMx crosshair is an evolution of the older FC-DM crosshair. This one also has a bright backlight that you can easily see even in bright daylight, whether at 1x or 8x zoom. The segmented ring around the center has been enlarged from 2 MRAD to 4 MRAD in diameter and is now thinner. This open space in the middle of the picture gives you an unobstructed view and thus the opportunity to quickly decide whether to shoot or not. The center dot with a diameter of 0.2 MRAD (0.7 MOA) provides a precise aiming point for accurate shooting at 8x zoom. |
