SCHMEISSER AR15 S4F 10.5″ .223 REM

Legendary American construction with uncompromising German quality.

The rifle uses only the highest quality materials and is completely assembled in Germany, in the workshops of the Schmeisser company in Krefeld. All parts that are not directly from the Schmeisser company (and there are really a minimum of those) are original  only from Europeans ONTO certified manufacturers. The rifle is intended for hunting and sports use and for self-defense.

The AR 15 S4F is a classic gas rifle, i.e. the legendary American one the construction of the so-called DGI, Direct Gas Impingement. It is being produced in caliber .223 Rem. and is also intended for use with 5.56×45 NATO ammunition. The 26.5 cm (10.5″) long barrel with 1/9 bore pitch is heat treated steel and has a strong “government profile”. The barrel is finished with a three-prong flame arrester. The barrel is guaranteed by the manufacturer for 15,000 shots.

The rifle has free-floating M-Lok Slim handguard, under which it hides Schmeisser steel adjustable gas block. You set the gasblock by clicking, which is especially practical when you can use the weapon with a silencer, for example. You only need to remember the number of clicks and after removing the silencer, you will set the gasblock back to its original ideal position. The forend is additionally secured against twisting by two protrusions that fix it against the upper frame of the weapon. The grip of the forearm has three recessed screws with HELICOIL® threaded inserts for high strength. The forend is also equipped with an upper Picatinny bar for fixing accessories.

The frame of the weapon is made of high-quality hardened aluminum alloy 7075 T6 and is treated with tribological anodization. It is equipped with an upper Picatinny rail and can be found on it complete two-sided control, including magazine and bolt discharge. The rifle is equipped mil-spec end stop, so that any failure to complete the conclusion can be quickly and effectively resolved by the shooter.

The trigger safety is double-sided and adjustable to 45° or 90° degrees . Two-stage trigger has resistance in the basic version 2.04 kg (1st stage 1135g, 2nd stage 908g). The trigger has a clearly defined course, which together with with a short trigger reset significantly contributes to the accuracy and speed of fire.

The enlarged cocking lever is double-sided, which is equipped flue gas exhaust grooves, which you will especially appreciate when using a shot suppressor, but even if you are left-handed. The cocking lever is also from Schmeisser's own production.

The stock of the rifle is polymer telescopic 6 positions, with clear and safe operation of the settings. The stock has two points for attaching the belt with a QD loop. The buffer has its own double coil spring, typical of German AR rifles. The stock is made of molded polymer and has a non-slip finish, as does the stock shoe.

The bolt carrier and the bolt are treated with manganese phosphating. The precise installation of the gas extension is pleasant, where the traditional German quality of work is once again recognized. The firing pin is also very well made and polished.

The rifle weighs 3,150 g a when the stock is fully retracted, it measures 72 cm. Conceptually, the rifle is designed for demanding conditions and complies with mil-spec standards. In keeping with this concept, the rifle is capable of flawless function with most world-produced AR 15 magazines.

Each individual AR15 rifle is tested and controlled by shooting with different types of ammunition and with different magazines before leaving the factory.

The equipment included with the rifle is also a bonus. With the rifle, the new owner will receive a durable plastic case with a code lock, complete Schmeisser cleaning, bore snake for cleaning the barrel, plastic folding flip-up add-on BUS sights, short M-lok Picatinny rail and control keys for accessories.
